Dark brown pour, nice head and lacing. Deep roasty aroma. Lots of coffee in this one. Some chalky cocoa. Everything a coffee porter should be. Solid.

 

 

Roasty black body with brown hints and head. Smell and taste are clones: coffee bean with artful smoke meet bittersweet chocolate and a hint of caramel, earth tones kiss the finish, expressive without being overpowering. Feel is lighter bodied than expected, coffee is less roasted too, but smoke carries well, malts too. Great on a rainy spring day

Poured into a tall Fuller, Smith & Turner glass with two finger head. Smelled slight coffee notes, but overall, not much from the base beer. This is a nice tasting porter with really nice coffee. Say's it's a smoked coffee porter, but didn't get much of the smoke. Oh well, I will just have to try it again.
