16oz can. No dating information found.
Cola brown colored body. One finger of light tan head, which results in an active surface storm. No lacing.
Aroma of toasted toffee malts, a bit of char, and floral/spicy hops.
Taste is toasted toffee malts and a touch of char. Slightly sweet with balanced bitterness at the end. Floral and earthy hops.
More than medium mouth feel, with a very smooth texture. Some tongue numbing. Good carbonation.
Very enjoyable for a black lager, with avoidance of excessive bitterness or sweetness, and providing a good balance of flavors.

Tastes like a blend of a roasty porter and a rich, malty-sweet lager - in a good way.
