Had Secrets of Sabro poured from pint can, bottom stamped "I DON'T KNOW . . . ." and "CANNED ON 01/25/21," muled from Cali. by little bro., into nonic pint.
Pours hazy gold with 1-finger near-white head, and good retention, leaving nice splotchy lace down the glass. Aroma of resin, malt and citrus off the pour, with tropical and stone fruits soon joining. Begins with moderate carbonation and some citrus rind bite, backed by drying resin, and then mild tropical and stone fruits, including pear, before a rather surprisingly bitter finish.
A very interesting "hazy" but neither New England nor insipid IPA, as the complexity of the aromas and sophisticated flavors cross many boundaries.
