The time has come for us to reap the benefits of this year's Fresh Strata harvest! Thrown in the brew on the very same day that they were plucked off the vine, these Strata hops are overflowing with flavors of grapefruit, pine, citrus, and tropical fruit. Bright, mildly bitter, and medium-bodied, this baby won't last for long so snag some cans while you can

Can pour - clear medium gold straw color, foamy white head, frosty lacing and bubbles. Nose is fresh and grassy, fruity and floral. Taste that follows is a bit muted compared to the nose. Lingering citric bite that finishes almost dry, tasty and fresh.

everyone used strata this year in the fresh hop stuff, but im into it, and this is a good one, a nice expression of the hop, rather bold compared to some others ive had this year, and my first ever beer from these guys overall, very well branded, attractive and modern, looks like something i would buy. i dig the near clarity and brightness of the pour, more west coast looking and refined than many of these have been this year i feel like, nice high white head on it too with good staying power. the nose is familiar as strata now, would have seemed exotic a few years back but this one is a known entity now, lemongrass, green tea, white coconut and coconut water, dandelion and yellow florals with some bitterness there, fresh as can be, a little resinous but short of old school dankness, green gooseberry, springy and alive to me, with some nice almost nutty malt support underneath with just a little sweetness to it, the flavor is similar, with grassy and pineapple candy notes up front, green pinecone and juniper in the middle, and green eating grape along with pear almost estery in the finish with the bitterness, very well dosed. slightly catty as it warms like mosaic can sometimes be, not a characteristic i have known from strata before, but it stays fruity too, and i like the malt balance in this. very professionally done too, high quality, simple in a good way where the ingredients really shine. eager to track down some more from these guys, this one hits!

Did someone say DANK?! This beer pours golden in color with a white head. Not much lacing is left. Nose is over the top (not really, that can't happen) pine/resin. Taste is very much a pine and grapefruit flavor with a bitter afterfeel. Well done

Picked this up for Harvest time 2020. Drank it out on the river. Never heard of this brewery before. 1st review for this beer on BA.

Pours a golden yellow color that is the most familiar of all beer colors. A bit impressed, then concerned, with the level of clarity to this wet hop beer. I guess you could centrifuge a wet hop beer. 1/4" white head. The aroma on this was very nice, Strata drops such a varied nose, dank, guava, strawberry, pine, orange, tangerine, passion fruit, weed, you name it.

Taste pushes that same varied envelope. They did a good job keeping a basic, light, dry malt profile that seems somewhere along light amounts of two row/pale/honey/pilsner. Really allows the Strata to shine, and shine it does. Carbonation on point. This is a very good wet hop beer, something that seems to be occurring less and less every year despite more and more hop varieties every year. I'm definitely going to be looking for more Original Pattern beers in the future, but I dunno, never seen their stuff outside of that one time.
