Back to back Original Pattern reviews here. This pours a very light straw yellow as they say. 1/2" white head on top of a Stone Ruination pint glass. Good clarity but hey, that's easy to do when you're talking rice lagers.
Aroma is similarly light, hopping way down. Light grain impression. Lager yeast doesn't really jump here.
The taste is a nice foray into rice. Rice is the future. You can't be serious, its just a joke dumb band. Whoops wrong rice. Light little grain and flowery taste. You're dang right this is snappy and crisp. I know rice doesn't taste like much, but it seems very pronounced in a good way here. Its distinct. Its refreshing. Its lively in the carbonation department and better for it.
I'm quite impressed with the high scores for this one. Would definitely bang again. Hopefully we can get some more Next Glass traffic for a few more reviews to see where it sits compared to other rice lagers.

Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the wine glass. Light and prickly on the tongue. Malty aroma with a scent of flowers-- a hint of spice like carnations. Smooth and flavorful with a mellow finish. Just enough sweetness with the malty, cereal flavor. Some fruit in the finish along whatever the subtle taste is that makes these Rice Lagers distinctive. Tremendously drinkable and yet another excellent Rice Lager. From the 16 oz can.

Super rice lager. Nose is delicate, presenting light, dry malt, aromatic toasted rice, and subtle floral hops. Taste is really nice, with a lightly honeyed malt balancing the aforementioned characters, and ending dryly with a big dose of jasmine rice! Wow. You can really taste the jasmine rice. This is a rice lager with bags of character, beautifully clean. Great can art, evoking a cute modern Japanese hop-person emoji, but presented as a traditional samurai crest. Well done!
