Another pour out of the can (neat label w skulls as usual) poured into a Marquette 2003 Dwyane Wade jersey pint glass.
Its golden in color, amazing clarity and 1" of white head. Very professional looking. Its a straight forward citrus/tropical hop edge. At one point, there is a commercial tug job for Citra/Mosaic. But then there is discussion of some other hops like Moutere and Centennial. Shit this might be my only Moutere hopped beer I've had if that angle is true. Big, if true.
The taste has a suprising little malty twang to it. Its heavier than its appearance for sure. Or was it the ol' cross contamination of a prior beer? We may never know. Maybe its just a firmer bitterness with some high alpha acid hops giving that impression in the mouthfeel. Notes of grapefruit, passionfruit, blueberry cough. This one just didn't hit on the crisp and dry mouthfeel like I would have hoped with that weird bitter twang malt thing going for it. Would try again though since it was only a 1 can score.

Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a stemmed glass.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Persisting white head. Partial walls of lacing coat the glass.
Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, and pine resin.
Taste is crisp, with a definite bitterness. Flavors of grapefruit, green melon, lemon, orange, and tangerine. Pine resin bitterness but balanced with the sweet fruits. Aftertaste fades with all flavors.
More than medium mouthfeel. Dry finish, that invites another sip. Excellent carbonation.
Full throated West Coast IPA.
