Can pour - clear golden straw color ,white head, scattered lacing. Nose is slightly silage like. Taste has a bit of dank with hints of citrus and pine that linger on the finish.

Another selection from the 24th annual dipa festival. Original Pattern is pretty good, makes sense to check a new (to me) beer out. Also, I'm writing the first ever review of this beer for this Next Glass owned beer database. You dig it the most.
Pours a golden color with a degree of clarity that firmly plants both feet in the west coast ipa subgenre. 1/4" white head. The aroma hits some usual zones with the Citra and Mosiac combo. Throw some 586 in to get a few fuzzy strawberry notes. Tangerine, orange, passion fruit, guava, weed smells.
Taste imparts much the same, brings a little bit more of a pine and rind grapefruit rind in addition to the other stuff. Makes sense to make it a bit more bitter and all that for the west coast angle. It hits right in the expected zones, dry, bitter, hides the alcohol well. Some of the usual sexy proprietary hops dropping tropical and citrus notes beyond rind/skin. Its pretty formulaicly good stuff. That's what all my friends say.
