clever and good, bright and easy, not too tart, a sour beer for actual drinking, prickly pear and lemon in this, the salt is perfect, and its natural, unforced despite being bold, and really tasty as a summer beer, missed that window obviously, and its still cool now, but in high july or something it would slap extra hard. bright pinkish orange with just a little haze and more head than a lot of these ever seem to have, airy and just stained a little rose pink. the fruit is awesome to my senses, lightly perfumy in the nose from the prickly pear, hints of cranberry and currant with it, but then some cool tartness from the lemons, some bitterness from the pith, essential oils swirling, layers of grapefruit and lime to me as well, bit citrus here especially in the flavor. good minerality, the salt adds a lot, some body even, and dries it out although this is never sweet. not a whole lot of grain flavor to it, but i dont miss that with the juicy prickly pear and the lactic tang, which is crazy clean and well enough restrained that i could drink these all day line, i wish more of these kept the acid back like this. wonderfully fresh, no doubt they used real fruit and not flavoring in this, and it really shows. higher quality than almost any gose ive had in recent memory, well carbonated, sneakily complex, and the lemon and prickly pear are just awesome with the salt. delicious beer overall, refreshing and original, impressed with the two i had from these guys! a beer nerdier sour ale than a lot of the kettle sours on the market right now...

Appearance - Pours a brilliant salmon color with a pinkish, finger width head that fizzles away somewhat quickly to reveal a thin, broken layer of suds with a consistent, thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A few spots make up the minimal lacing.

Smell - Tart aroma, with lemon being prominent, while sweet prickly pear frutiness sits beneath. Hint of saltiness.

Taste - Follows the nose. Zesty lemon sourness upfront and throughout while the prickly pear and it's distinct fruity character. Saltiness comes through in the finish, pairing well with the continuing lemon tartness.

Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with bitey carbonation. Slick, smooth texture with a dry, quaffable finish.

Overall - Really nice gose. The lemon and prickly pear play well off each other, while the salt adds that quenching touch. Well done!
