Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Grapefruit juice pour. Hazed golden pink color with thin fizzy white head. Not much lacing to mention.
S: Tart lime and citrus. Grapefruit and cherry.
T.F: Modestly tart up front. Lime and grapefruit again... not much in the way of bitterness.... more of a sweet/tart fruit mix. Works pretty well. Medium bodied and sticky on the tongue.
O: As a tart lime-forward brew this works pretty well. Not much of an IPA but I did enjoy it.

From a 16oz can poured into a pint glass. Pours an orange/amber color. Tart tropical notes on the nose and palate. Nice hoppy darkness but the tart mai-tai concept did not appeal, much as I like New Trail’s other IPA series.

16 oz can poured into a shaker.
Appearance
Murky brownish amber. No head.
Nose
Lime, cherry, lemon, and orange.
Taste
Lime pith, sour cherry, and lemon. Slight orange with an aspirin bitterness. Doughy malts. Sweet dank and eucalyptus with a lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, smooth, oily, and bitter.
Overall
Unfortunately this just isn't working...weird bitter and sour flavors muddled all over. Everything else that New Trail does is awesome though.

Came off as a sour beer. Not at all IPA tasting. Not at all what I expected. Did not like
