Rope Swing is a Hazy Double IPA brewed with Mango. Brewed with loads of wheats then conditioned atop piles of mango flesh. Hopped swayingly with Simcoe. Expect high notes of mango complimented by deep citrus and other tropicals. Take this one on the river and have some fun on a Rope Swing!

Canning date: ???
A - Medium opaque golden orange tan colored pour with very dense white lacing.
S - Tropical fruit aroma and mango permeate the glass and are the main attraction here.
T - Fleshy mango, mango rind with a slight bit of pepper added in, citrus, and a delicate sweet malt base.
M - Big medium body with a soft texture.
O - Not one of the better D-IPA's from New Trail (IMO). Nevertheless, it's decent, just not a fan.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a murky golden amber with a brief off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is juicy mango, lemon, grapefruit rind, and a slight malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is soft and juicy, bordering on chewy. Finish is initially all mango, but fades o a slight resinous bitterness. Overall, another thoroughly enjoyable NEIPA from New Trail.

Pours a hazy orange with a slight white head that quickly dissipates.
Smells of mango. Orange. Lemon. And fruity nutty malt.
Mango and orange up front with bitter lemon and herb. Finishes dry nutty and earthy.

Hazy yellow with a white head. Aromas of mango and dank hops, slightly acrid. Taste makes me wonder if I got a bad can. It is more like fermented fruit juice with hops than anything else. Feel was medium and smooth with a lingering bitterness. I really did not enjoy this, and didn’t finish the 8oz of the can I split with a friend. I may revisit this only to see if I got an off can the first time.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is opaque straw gold, head is off white and presents 1-2 fingers thick and then dissipates to thin ring with some lacing on the glass.
Smell a bit modest with light citrus, muted tropical fruit and hint of mango, light malt notes. Very similar to Broken Heels.
Taste is quite bitter, hoppy in the mosaic realm with citrus rind and tropical fruit, i don't get a lot of mango until the finish but its something you need to tune in to find. Malt is limited but some biscuit and cracker. I think there is some heat from the strength overriding the softer flavors in this brew as its not quite 'juicy'.
Mouthfeel is more bitter than others in the style, light to moderate carbonation, hint of sweetness and lingering bitterness.
Overall a big, hazy ipa that is quite bitter and even quite boozy in some aspects. I'd like to take it back about 1-1.5% abv to see if this smooths out some because it seems a bit rough and bitter from the can.
