Hazed dark orange/amber. Nicely spiced aroma and flavor with a decent amount of maple syrup and pumpkin character. Nice balance of flavors. Medium to light bodied and fairly smooth for 5.7%.

Definitely One of the better pumpkin ales I've had the maple really shines to bring the sweetness and it still has that nice bit of cinnamon and allspice in the finish along with a bit of grassy hops to remind you your tasting vegetal. In fact, I think it could probably use more sweetness to cover up that bitter vegetal taste, but I'll allow it since it is after all part of the Brew. You would think the 5.7 would drink pretty light, but it has a nice chewy medium body.
Overall, I'm not sure I would get it again though. It doesn't have the smoothness of Elysian night owl or like I said, the sweetness and balance of Lancaster baked pumpkin ale. Not bad but I've definitely had worse

16 oz can split with my wife, poured into a teku glass. Pours a chestnut brown color with a thin head. Aroma and flavor feature sweet maple, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla with a nice malty backbone. It's pretty sweet but still easy to drink, and very flavorful at a reasonable 5.7% abv. Good stuff (assuming you like the style).

Purchased at Bound Beverage, Warrington, PA. 4pk/16oz cans
Pours a deep, golden amber color, semi-opaque. A thin skim of a head on the initial pour.
Nice aromas of pumpkin spice and vanilla.
A tasty brew with the advertised flavors of maple syrup, vanilla and pumpkin spice. Slightly sweet but not cloying. A sour, dry aftertaste.
Medium consistency, low carbonation.
Overall, a very good pumpkin ale. I enjoyed the addition of the maple syrup and vanilla flavors. A new favorite...cheers!

New Trail Brewing Co. "Zombies Are People Too"
16 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON: 08/07/24" and sampled on 5 September 2024
$4.25 @ Wegmans, King of Prussia, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: This is a pumpkin ale with maple syrup, vanilla & spices. It's poured a hazy deep-cooper/orange colored body with golden highlights beneath a thumb's width of yellowed off-white foam. It appears reddish while the full pint is sitting on the bar. The aroma expresses sweetish malt and pumpkin pie spices with cinnamon dominating. It's not overdone, and rather pleasant. On to the taste... it follows the aroma as is quite often the case. It's not as sweetly malty as I thought, and I'm reminded that this is just 5.7% ABV. I get the spices clearly, and now I'm finding some ginger and nutmeg but there's no maple syrup and just a hint of vanilla but maybe once it warms up a little bit there will be more. The spices remain balanced, and it's not that bitter at all but not overly dry or spicy either. I think they've got the balance right. The malt is grainy and toasty. I'm also getting a fair amount of apple from it which works for me as I associate apple cider with Halloween and fall in general. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp. The head held up fairly well, and the lacing is a bit better than that. If it was clearer I'd score it better on appearance. I'm about halfway through it now and it has warmed up. There's a bit more maltiness to it, and a better balance, but I'm still not finding the maple syrup. That's OK, however, as it's an ingredient but no one ever promised you'd really taste it. Sugars tend to ferment out leaving less of their flavor behind. In the end I think it's quite a decent pumpkin beer. It's well-brewed, and nicely balanced and rounded. I could personally use a little bit more malt and/or less spice but I think the everyday Joe who enjoys a pumpkin latte from Starbucks will enjoy it, and I want to point out again that the spicing is not overdone. That kills a spiced beer for me but this one is fine.

Pours a nice dark amber with a tan head that leaves some nice lace.
Pumkin spice - nutmeg, cinnamon - and rich malt.
Pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, and sweet bread malt. A big bold beer.
