Appearance: Pours a very cloudy goldenstraw with a one finger head; decent retention but minimal lacing
Smell: Papaya, pineapple and grapefruit
Taste: Papaya and pineapple forward with the grapefruit building; quite a bit of citrusy bitterness, after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation; very bright
Overall: Interesting to position this as an Australian style pale ale as I have not heard of such a thing; perhaps it exists but whatever you want to call this, I really like the balance and the hop kick
Thanks, The_Kriek_Freak, for the opportunity

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is straw, touch of gold, head is bright white with fine bubbles, head presents 1.5 fingers thick, some lacing and a solid top remain.
Smell is mild hops with notes citrus, grapefruit pith, herbs, touch of biscuit and wheat.
Taste is similar with citrusy hop flavor, grapefruit pith maybe some stone fruit, light herbal and hint of pine, malt is biscuit and toast, light wheat.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, almost gritty from the haze/density.
Overall a hazy pale ale with citrusy/bitter hop aroma and flavor, thick maltiness but subtle aroma/flavor.

NT is solid and one of new fav breweries, did not disappoint on an ale which brings back "oil can" memories, but better, much better!

From the NT Instagram post: “Walkabout is an Australian Style Pale Ale brewed with wheats and oats. Jumpily hopped with some of our favorite hops from “down undah” including the illustrious Galaxy. Expect big citrus, pine and tropical notes. We’re enjoying a few of these with our mates.” Lots of flavor in a lower abv brew. Quite a bit of bitterness, too.
