I recently purchased this latest CANned offering from the Bill Town boys at the Friendly Greek Bottle Shop (FGBS) for inclusion in The CANQuest (tm). I hope that you like the approved pic!
From the CAN: "Tart Ale brewed with Pineapple, Passion Fruit & Mango"; "Keep Cold[,] Drink Fresh".
The Heliocentric series has historically been hazy so I performed some in-CAN agiCANtion before Crack!ing open the vent. Following said action, I CANtinued with a heavy-handed C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass to ensure that any flocculated adjuncts were back in suspension before I CANtinued. First, I was met with two-plus fingers of sturdy, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention, surprising for this style. Nose CANnounced itself during the Glug by making the room smell as though I had sprayed pineapple-scented air freshener. 8=O Leaning in, I also perceived the passion fruit & mango, but pineapple remained dominant. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not much beyond it, either. The taste was mildly tart with a taste like Italian ice or sorbet - very fruity, loads of pineapple, acCANponied by the other tropical fruit flavors to give it a piquant tang. Mmm. I found it to be very pleasant, not challenging in terms of its tartness, making it quite drinkable. Finish was semi-dry with an offsetting sweetness from the fruit. It made for a very pleasant drink. YMMV.
