16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.

Well, the ipa aspect is well in the background, shows up in the finish. The chocolate strawberry flavors are well balanced, not overwhelming. A light vanilla touch. Having said that, one at a time is enough.

Pours hazy muddy pink/orange with a cream colored head that leaves some lace.

Chocolate, strawberry, cream, sweet herbal hops.

Chocolate and strawberry with a crea.y milkshake mouthful. Fresh herbal hop Finish.

Poured into a mason jar: color is murky, hazy dark gold, off white head presents but quickly dissipates to nothing, no lacing.

Smell is muddled mix of hops and chocolate, limited strawberry, chocolate is sweet but prominent; hops are difficult to perceive amongst the chocolate flavoring.

Taste is similar - mixed and muddled hops and chocolate, very little strawberry, hops are notable but the prominent chocolate and then some vanilla like flavoring over powers the nuance of any flavors.

Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, mid range bitterness, odd lingering flavors.

Overall an odd brew that definitely has a heavy handed chocolate flavoring to it but not sure why it needs to be mixed with a hazy ipa - strawberry flavoring is lost amongst the strong chocolate/vanilla flavors, and the hops just seem to be there but provide no dominant flavor or aroma. i mixed this with a porter to make it drinkable.
