Part of Expedition Pack Trek Two.
A hazy IPA brewed with Grist House Craft Brewery. This beer was brewed with heavy oats and light wheats, and hopped aggressively with Wai-Iti, Citra, & African Queen. Expect bright tangerine, rich tropicals, & ripe berry.

Slight off white colored froth quickly fizzes away... Color is an exceedingly pale lemony yellow... Nose is highlighted by citrus primarily in the form of lemon and lime... Palate is completely different and takes on a very earthy character... Medium bodied with a chalky dryness that I haven't experienced before... Average at best...

Cloudy pale yellow with with a fat finger of off-white head. Modest retention and spotty lacing.
Big aroma of mango, orange, vanilla, jungle flowers and cut grass.
Mango and orange juice in the taste give way to moderate grassy bitterness. There’s a hint of playdoh behind in both the nose and the taste. Mild enough to ignore, but not ideal.
Creamy, relatively full bodied, a zip of carbonation.
Impressive for a distributed NEIPA, and a collaboration at that. Huge aroma and decent balance in the taste.

Pours opaque and the color of pineapple juice with less than a finger of head. The nose has notes of modestly candied oranges. The flavor is reminiscent of tropical fruit bubble gum.
Overall, this is a fine but unremarkable effort.

Sad - NT missed on one here, taste is milky and not much of flavor. So many good NTs, this is one is on the "not so good list"

Never a bad day with New Trail IPAs. Hazy IPA with Citra, Waiti, and African Queen, by New Trail collaborating with Grist House Brewing.
Very hazy pale straw colored and with one finger of white head. Good presentation, only slightly darker than the best examples of the style.
A very juicy aroma at first, notes like gummy tangerine candies, passionfruit, and shaved pineapple. Very strong aroma but not the most complex. Still lovely and what I expect from New Trail.
Ripe flavors as well. They are bright and integrated perfectly. Tangerine peel, cantaloupe, light gooseberry, passionfruit again, and a slight currant note too.
Super well produced yet again. Soft, drinkable as heck and mildly sessionable at 6.3. Hoppy aftertaste but nothing too crazy either.
New Trail is always a no-brainer for me and this doesn't dissapoint. Flavorful, bright, and drinkable IPAs are the best. Just like this one.

A - Dark, opaque golden tan color with dense, thin, white lacing.
S - Melon and citrus on the nose. Not overly pungent, but present.
T - Stone fruit, berries, citrus, some spiciness, and black current. Ends with a balanced and pleasant bitterness with stone fruit and citrus.
M - Thick, frothy, and chewy - more so than just about any regular IPA I've ever had.
O - It's rock solid, no doubt. There are some hop varieties used in this that I've never had before which makes it an interesting experience.
