Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a cloudy orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thin webs of lace with nice retention. 4.25
Aroma peach, ripe melon, mango, apricot, and a little alcohol comes out. 4
Taste follows very sweet peach, honeydew, mango, apricot, and a little warming alcohol in the finish that lingers after each sip. 4
Mouthfeel is big, slightly sticky but not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 10% ABV it might drink even bigger, but still goes down easy enough. 4.25
Overall this is a really nice NETIPA. Thanks jzeilinger for this can. 4

Good Hazy, usually shy away from DIPAs and Imperials but found this to be just fine.

16oz tallboy can received courtesy of Jay O'Rear and his introductory box (for more is on the way, heaven help my poor porch) for NBS BIF #13. No date on the can, which is somewhat the worse for wear, having numerous dings and dents upon it.
Poured into an IPA glass, it's not terribly attractive beer it's a murky yellow amber color, with a decent-sized off white head that dropped somewhat quickly. But, hey, he's he's frequently are not Lookers, and something this strong probably should have a head the dropped fairly quickly, so I can't grade too harshly, there.
The nose is not particularly strong. It's of mangoes, apricots stone fruit, etc, as described in the beer's brewer's own description, but it's of somewhat disappointingly low amplitude. Gets a little boozy as it warms, perhaps unsurprisingly.
Taste is a bit more dominant than the nose, but not by a lot. It is quite sweet, but not particularly bold. It just needs a bit of a zap, maybe an off-setting bitterness for some contrast.
Medium-full sort of body, maybe needs a little more carbonation. Then again, it's a TIPA, so it could be considerably more turgid than it is. Fairly thick, almost creamy mouthfeel.
I feel like this is almost there in terms of really impressing me, and probably would impress a great deal of drinkers with slightly different preferences. It's a bit too sweet for me, and a bit too "solid" for my preferences for the style. Then again, it's lack of vaunted brightness and lack of date (I bitch about this to all my local brewers that do this as well), may mean it's an older beer. Not all 10%+ IPAs age into, essentially, a barleywine the way DFH 120 does. But I think it's just more my own preference for less fruity sweetness coming into play (I clash with all my friends who love ciders for similar reasons; they all love sugar bomb fruity ciders and I want the dryest one possible). Thanks for the chance to try it, Jay!

A - Opaque dark golden orange color with bright white, dense creamy lacing.
S - Pungent, spicy, peppery citrus and citrus fruit rind with some alcohol presence.
T - Peach, mango, sweet red grapefruit, sticky pine, apricot, and some earthy melon. Ends on the sweeter side with a slight alcohol presence.
M - Big and full body that's silky soft ending semi-dry on the back of the palate with slight warming in the back of the throat.
O - A little fusel and flexes it's "ABV muscles", but not over powering. I just cracked a 2nd can of this and it's not so evident the 2nd time around with more spicy citrus than alcohol presence. (big surprise?)

Gift from my bro-in-law. Sounds potent, let’s give er a try. Dark golden and super hazy with a thinning white head, looks pretty nice. Sweet and tropical nose is working pretty well too. Wait, is this brewed with some fruits...blam thats pretty sweet n flavorful that does pretty well to hide ‘most’ of the alcohol. Decent prickly carbonation helps this thicker brew. This flavor with a bit less alcohol in the mix would work even better.

New to review N.T.'s Field. First, a pint can is poured into a clear Imperial pint glass. Welcomed is the absence of a big foamy white head, now a warning of an over starched brew. This is a murky and dense dirty blond in color. There's just a little bit of a head, but it endures. The aroma is a hop hit, with earthiness, bitterness and even spiciness coming to the nose. Perhaps the high ABV contributes to the last characteristic. The taste is very good, with plenty of sweet malt to carry an earthy, but not bitter, hop delight. Obviously, this has some sort of wheat and/or oat contribution that mutes the bitterness, but it does so within a balance. A well rounded heavy hitter, this brings a bit of everything expected from a triple IPA: Hops, malt, alcohol and yeast. There may be no glass lacing, but there is residue at the bottom of the glass. Probably a little too sweet to be outstanding in its field, this is still a major player.
P.S. Later learning oats were used for the softening starches, there is further evidence that wheat belongs in IPAs only in minute doses, if at all.

L: pours a hazy orange with little head.
S: getting big stone fruit along with mango and papaya
T: citrus and tropical for sure. Definitely boozy but that can be expected from a triple.
F: medium body not as thick as I expected
O: very drinkable for a beer with such a high ABV. I thoroughly enjoyed this offering from New Trail

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Rather ugly dull dark golden brown pour with several fingers of fluffy white head. Decent retention and lacing.
S: Sweet fruit. Citrus and honey.
T.F: Semi-sweet to start. Grains and honey... bread, citrus, and booze. Tropical fruit... pineapple and mango. Tea leaves and spice. Medium bodied... sticky on the tongue.
O: A big, sweet, and boozy triple IPA. Lots of flavor... ABV is a bit in your face but still dangerously drinkable. Solid offering.
