Let's do it again, there's another double hazy label from New Trail, this time an intra-state collaboration with Levante. What could go wrong here? Out of the pint can it comes and into a clear Imperial pint glass. Orange-amber in color it is and with a modest head. There's a very inviting aroma of starchy stuff and hops. Another good one here. Soft mouth feel for a heavy hitter at 9% ABV. Not overly malty sweet, but sweet enough to counterbalance a heavy hop hit and certainly rich enough to carry both. This really is another excellent version of this style from New Trail. It is, as described, citrusy, earthy and dank, all at once. Then the finish gives a nice clean break. They keep doing it at New Trail.

Poured into tall tulip pint glass: color is golden straw, murky haziness, brighter white head presents 2 fingers thick then dissipates to solid top that lingered throughout.
Smell is bright, spicy citrusy and stone fruit, some pineapple, malt sweetness hides any boozy characteristics.
Taste is similar with mixed citrus rind, stone fruit, pineapple, fairly dominant peppery/spicy quality, thick malt/oat presence but that hides the strength.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, warming bitterness counters thick sweet feeling.
Overall a less pineappley NT HDIPA that goes well in presenting some pleasant notes of citrus, stone fruit and peppery notes.

Close to two fingers worth of exceedingly lush off white colored head... Color is an uber hazy pale copper... Good lacing left on the glass... Nose is mild hops... A mix of citrus and earth... Palate is a follow through from the nose... On the fuller side of medium bodied... Has a bit of a bite on the finish... Enjoyable, but slightly punishing... Good brew... A nice job (not surprisingly) from New Trail...

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a murky brownish gold with a brief off-white head. Nice lacing. Initial impression is juicy citrus, tropical fruits, sweet but not cloyingly so, with a hint of pine resin and some weedy dankness. Mouthfeel is thick and smooth. Finish fades to a slight pine bitterness. Overall, a great collab between two excellent breweries - well done!

Canned on ???
A - Pours an opaque medium golden tan color with a thick two fingered creamy cream colored head.
S - Nice juicy citrus aroma and tropical fruit aroma with pineapple, peach, and passion fruit being the dominant nuance.
T - Citrus and tropical fruit abound in this beer from start to finish. Pineapple, peach, nectarine, passion fruit, resiny floral and resiny pine on the finish. There's also some peppery / spicy citrus rind presence. Finishes balanced with a slight nod to the resiny pine bitterness.
M - Thick and chewy.
O - Rock solid and definitely worth a look. I may be going back to the store to buy some more of this shah. ;o)

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed medium golden pour. Massive fluffy white head... lasts awhile with great lacing.
S: Citrus and tropical fruits.
T.F: Semi-sweet to start... big grapefruit and mango. Pineapple, tangerine, and apricot. On the heavier side of medium bodied... smooth and creamy. Well carbonated and with modest bitterness. Juice and citrus finish.
O: An outstanding collaboration between New Trail and Levante. Great flavor... dangerously drinkable at 9%. Well worth snagging a 4pack.
