A finger's worth of slightly late to develop bone white froth... Color is a pale to medium good with no haziness... A few stray carbonation bubbles rise throughout and some cling to the glass... Nose is a tantalizing mix of equal parts sweet citrus and pungent pine... Palate is as expected, but perhaps a bit more on the piney side with just a hint of pepper mixed in... Medium bodied and moderately carbonated... An simple straight forward and well executed offering from New Trail... Wish they made more of the West Coast variety...

Pours a regular west coast ipa color, aroma is dank rainy like a wc should be, and that piney, slightly grapefruit, earthy hoppy aftertaste I like so much. Finally a non cloudy IPA from NewTrail. And it is really good.

L: Pours a beautiful clear copper
S: malt/bread in the nose with a touch of pine and citrus
T: resinous pine with a bit of citrus and malty bread.
F: thin, crisp, and clean
O: I loved this beer. The label states “modern west coast” but it seems to me like a classic

Pours a a slightly pale amber with an off white head.
Smells of tropical fruit nuts and bread
Taste is mango and star fruit with buttered toast and finishing dry with a woody earth note.
