Lake is a Hazy Triple IPA brewed with pillowy oats. Deeply hopped with Amarillo, Simcoe, and HBC 472. HBC 472 is an experimental hop known for sweet fruit, woody coconut and bright vanilla characteristics. Expect notes of sweet stonefruit, high tropicals and deep orange.

Poured into a goblet: color is murky, hazy gold, thick looking, head is off white with fine bubbles, head presents 1 finger thick and then dissipates to thin solid top with some spotty lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is stonefruit, booze, malt, honey like sweetness, mixed tropicals - really on the sweet side.
Taste is similar to aroma with stonefruit, malt/honey sweetness, mixed tropicals, maybe some light vanilla, but really sweet and thick and near cloying. Alcohol seems either hidden by the sweetness or part of the strong sweet flavor.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, heavy sweetness, low bitterness - nearly cloying in sweetness but i think the booziness burns some of this off. Slow drying from booze and bitterness on the tongue
Overall a big, sweet, nearly cloying htipa - the sweetness is both the savior and detriment to this beer as it masks it strength but overtakes the hops due to aging.

Beautiful, hazy, orange gold. Aroma little muted, expected better with this particular hop bill, maybe this can was a little dated? Note to brewer, date your beer. Sweet, stone fruits. orange, maybe vanilla noted from the experimental hop. Smooth, satisfying, major lip smacking, love the Amarillo and Simcoe combination, contributing to outstanding mouthfeel. Little pricey at $5 bucks and change, but it is an huge beer the 10.5% 16 oz translating to a 14% ABV bomb.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a very hazy gold with a brief off-white head. Surprisingly good lacing. Initial impression is very juicy pineapple, peach, orange, tropical fruits, and mango. Fairly sweet, but not cloying. Mouthfeel is exceptionally soft. Finish is sweet and citrus-y, with a bit of alcohol heat. Overall, a very tasty TIPA!

Canned on date: ????
A - Hazy medium orange gold color with creamy soapy lacing that's uber sticky on the sides of the glass.
S - Dank and spicy on the nose with: apricot, peach, nectarine, and citrus.
T - Juicy/spicy peach, nectarine, apricot, pineapple, and pineapple rind with some sweet malt backbone and lingering tropical spiciness on the back end.
M - The hop bill generates a healthy layer of cotton-like sensation on the lining of the mouth and leaves a dry finish.
O - There's some heat going down from the ABV but never detracts from overall from the beer. Recommended.
