Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is murky gold, head is bright white and presents 1 finger thick, then dissipates to thin top with spotty lacing on glass.
Smell is berry, melon, pineapple, stonefruit, booziness, sweet malt.
Taste is muddled fruits - berry, stonefruit, pineapple; then super sweet maltiness that is unfermented/residual; booziness comes with warmth.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate/strong sweetness, low bitterness and then a lingering bite from the strength and late hopping that is slightly off putting.
Overall a big, sweet, boozy DHIPA - residual sweetness is quite strong along with strong booziness and late hops create a funky late mouthfeel.
