Poured into NT stemless: color is solid black, limited tan head, head dissipates to nothing, whispy alcohol trails on the glass sides.
Smell is blend coffee, whisky, vanilla, lactose sweetness, some caramel roast, and chocolate malt, some boozy burn.
Taste is similar with more pronounced alcohol/boozy character: notes of coffee, chocolate malt, whisky, vanilla, oak, lactose, more limited caramel but still very sweet from the lactose and boozy character.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, big thick sweetness, but countered by the bitter and drying character; malt/roast/whisky sits on the tongue.
Overall a big, boozy coffee stout on the sweeter side with the lactose addition and big ABV, a sipper for sure.
