This pours very pretty, with a pale golden color, almost perfect clarity, and a wet finger of head that lasts a good four minutes before collapsing. Nose is muted and grainy. Flavor does have caramel and pine and some resin to provide backbone and the graininess is in the background only. This went down very easy.

From a can, into a shaker "pint", 2/2024.
Nice straw color.
Really great hop aroma.
Great hop presence.
Outstanding WC IPA.
I really like New Trail, they usually do Hazys, this is a breath of fresh air.
I really like the piney citrus notes, great hop mix.

A more dark orange appearance and hazy. Not sure the age but aroma is kinda stale /old in aroma. Taste nicely balanced with pine, juicy and malts. I like the fact New Trail made a classic IPA.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, pine. Taste is the same as the aroma, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

7/5/23 On tap at Creekside at Gamble Mill.
Very clear with slight head little lacing.
Beautiful hop, pine aroma
Nice and piney. Sweet almost to a fault (for me, anyway).
Decent IPA.

Look, deep dark golden with lots of tiny bubbles head that fades rather quickly, but tiny head around the edge.
Smell, citrusy, pineapple grapefruit and pine.Very aromatic.
Taste, As it warms up I notice hints of peach on top of the citrus and pine.
Feel, good mouth feel like most finer IPAs.
Overall, got this in a sample pack would buy again!

Dirty darker straw color; head slight off white, bubbly, then slightly clumpy before settling to a nice thick lingering film; some lacing present as well.
The sap and pine jump out of this one before being subdued by a lightly sweet maltiness, light citrus zest.
The taste is more of a citrus pine combination; the citrus is zesty in nature, the malt hits slightly sweet on the finish.
Medium body; slight full and syrupy though, sharp bitterness, the finish is a little unbalanced; hint of abv and just not that dry either, stingy sweet.
It’s an ok beer but it lacks the cleanliness and drinkability that I want in my hoppy beers, it’s got the look and the glorious piney nose but it falls apart on feel and taste for me.

A fingers worth of lush creamy light khaki colored froth.... Completely translucent light to medium gold color... An inviting hop forward nose of tropical fruits... Flavor profile strays from the nose... Much earthier and less sweet then expected... A bit buttery as well... Still quite enjoyable... Text book definition of medium bodied and crisp... Quaffable and easy drinking... Very nice beer and supports a good cause... You can't go wrong with this one on either count...

Not blown away by this one as a huge NT fan. This ipa was to subtle and fades back to west coast days. Do yourself favor and grab any NTs NEIPAs, and u will become an NT fan too.

I've ignored this brewery for a while but finally decided to try something from them. This ipa is fucking phenominal.
