The beers look borders on what I would expect of a wheat. It has a pleasant, crisp taste that I like in a citrus IPA but don't often find in the hazy style produced by most breweries. I think New Trail has nailed this one. Recommended.

12oz can into a pint glass at Hucklebucks in Pottsville Pa tonight. Canned 9/11/24, so 2 months old.
Pale dull yellow body, persistent white head, scattered lacing. Nice citrus/orange aroma. On tasting, mild orange, light citrus, quite smooth. Finish is clean.
Overall, nice sessionable hazy. Most blood orange beers are overdone, but this is handled for balance, much appreciated by this palate.

I’m not exactly the biggest blood orange fan, but I enjoy the OG Broken Heels and Williamsport’s second finest brewery can basically do no wrong, so here we are. The orange wasn’t overpowering, it looked bright and delicious, and I’ll be scooping up another sixer of this jawn at some point soon.

surprisingly drinkable....i was concerned after reading bad reviews on other beer sites and i bought this by mistake...i thought it was regular broken heels IPA which I like but the blood orange citris flavor is subtle and not overwhelming...far better that some other breweries 'hazy IPA's .... i would say check it out cause its a good one.

A slight partially lopsided light khaki colored froth with modest at best retention that leaves a full collar and splotchy lacing I it's wake... The nose is blood orange forward but not overpowering in any way and is surprisingly sweet... The blood orange becomes much more astringent on the palate... Ut takes some getting used to and I'm not sure I'm a fan... Feel is on the fuller side of medium bodied... A slight bit of brisk carbonation and a chalky finish... Not my favorite New Trail offering and not an improvement on the base beer in any way...
