When a pint can's contents are emptied into a clear Imperial pint glass, the surprise is how little the blueberries effected its color. This is dark and dull amber, with just a little tint from the fruit. There are blueberry infused brews that are downright purple. The head is more than ample, thanks to the wheat, and barely off-white. The soft aroma is of a sour, but the blueberry isn't necessarily sharply defined. The mouthfeel is soft, but also pleasantly light. Unfortunately, so are the other taste offerings. There's not much solid blueberry flavor and it's neither tart, nor sour to any appreciable degree. That doesn't make it bad and on occasions this will probably be enjoyable. But, a sour should be sour, or at least tart. A berry like taste is here, but it's not sharply blueberry. As with most wheat-based beers, the head didn't last and there was no lacing inside the glass. It's another beer for people that don't like beer.
