Ohiopyle Hazy IPA is brewed with Pilsner malt and a hefty layer of oats. Then dry-hopped with Azacca, Amarillo and Citra for bright and refreshing notes of mango, high citrus, and sweet florals.
Ohiopyle State Park is over 20,000 acres at the gateway to the Laurel Highlands. The Youghiogheny River Gorge runs through, making for an ideal river sports destination, including some of the best whitewater rafting in the US. This hazy IPA supports the project to build the Great Allegheny Passage pavilion, which will not only as a place for picnicking, but as a safe place for both rafters and trail users to get out of bad weather.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 8/1/24, so a month old.
Soft hazy pineapple juice body with a small foamy white head. Streaks of lacing. Very mild fruity aroma. On tasting, perks up a bit. Sharp, hoppy, slightly fruity with a surprising white wine note. Finish is lightly drying and fruity.
Overall, standard hazy, that odd white wine note makes it interesting.

Can dated 8/1/24 into pint glass. Pours a murky light gold with a small but persistent white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is citrus and mango. Mouthfeel is medium and fairly smooth. Finish fades to a slightly tart citrus. I spent many, many weekends on the Yough and I'm glad to see Ohiopyle in NT's lineup.
