Pours gold-orange, almost totally opaque. Decent lacing, perhaps a little too much carbonation on the mouthfeel. Mango and tropical fruits on the nose. I really like this one, taste follows the nose. Really a good beer.

A fingers worth of fizzy off white colored froth... Solid retention... Color is a slightly hazed murky pale gold... Nose is sweet and tropical... Wheat undertones as well... Palate exactly as expected and as the Jose led us to believe... Feeling is on the lighter side of medium... Some prickly carbonation and a smidge of chalkiness on the finish... Decent and enjoyable but a bit h deeming from two of my favorite breweries...

Poured into pint glass from a can with a brew date of 4/7/25, purchased from the Giant supermarket in Hatfield, PA. The appearance was the best part of the beer, and the taste was a slightly tropical mild bitterness. Zero lacing and essentially no head retention.
Not the best thing they’ve ever done, but certainly not the worst. Still a better-than-average hazy jawn.

Pours a cloudy, hazy yellow/green with an ample white Head that leaves its mark on the glass.

Peach and star fruit with floral notes and a slight cookie malt.

Peach, floral and herbal hops with a small hit of star fruit hanging on a slight, malt, buttery cookie backbone.

This is a well done collab. In comparison to the standard New Trail sub 7% Hazy IPA, this has more flavor and more body. It's hop addition of Citra, Talus, and Krush is blended nicely keeping the overpowering nature of Citra at bay. Flavors of mango, pineapple, cantaloupe, and hints of strawberry lead the way with a subtle dank and bitterness coming in towards the finish. This beer is successful in that it has awakened an interest in Dewey Beer offerings

Can dated 4/7/25 into pint glass. Pours a hazy light yellow color with a modest off-white head. Decent lacing. Initial impression is tropical fruits, pineapple and a touch of orange. Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and fairly soft. Finish fades to slight citrus bitterness. Enjoyable but not memorable. I tend to avoid collabs, but this one was OK.

It's excessively white foamy to a fault, once a pint can finally gets emptied into a clear glass liter mug, barely in one pour. Albeit at room temperature, there's way too much foam and it recedes unevenly and unattractively. The aroma is much better, with sharp piney and lemony notes hitting the nose, immediately. The description of the liquid is hazy dark grapefruit-amber and it's dull. The taste is shallow, West Coast bitter without anything else. Even the bitterness is governed by an oaty medium that knocks the bite down a little, without offering any additional flavors. Better a cleanly bitter bite without the oaty inclusion than what's offered here. There's no sustaining head and only sparsely irregular glass lacing which accurately predicts the lack of a body, especially for an oat based brew. No points lost here, as West Coast IPAs aren't expected to provide that. But, anything claiming to be a hazy IPA should do better. Overall, it has a nice hoppy bite, but nothing else. Maybe that's enough for some.
