16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 6/26/25, so 2 months old.

Pale hazy orange juice body. Small foamy head retains well, a sheet of lacing at first. Aroma is mixed fruit with a faint dry hop note. On tasting, pretty much follows the nose. The finish is a more pronounced dry hop note with a little warmth from the abv.

Overall, nice easy drinking double hazy. But nothing to make it stand out from hundreds of others.

Pours a pale, hazy orange with a tall frothy white head that hangs around and leaves trails of lace.

Pine, citrus, and tropical fruit in the nose.

Pineapple, mango, star fruit, up front with pine and sweet bread malt in the back.

Canned on: 6-26-25

A - Opaque golden tan pour with very dense, creamy lacing that sticks to the sides of the glass like glue.

S - Aroma is big, fruity, and aromatic with tropical fruit and citrus slamming the nose.

T - Tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple, mango, a slight bit of lemon, lime, and floral with subdued herbal presence. Ends a little on the sweeter side with light fruity bitterness.

M - Pillowy soft and chewy.

O - Aromatic, flavorful, and a well-hidden ABV.

Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is murky/hazy gold, head is brighter white with small to fine bubbles, head dissipates to solid top that is 1/2 inch thick with frothy lacing on the glass side.

Smell is subtle oats, citrus pith and pineapple, maybe some biscuit.

Taste is similar with forward citric pith, some oats, pineapple and mixed tropicals, some biscuit, thick sweetness with warmth and light boozy burn.

Mouthfeel is low carbonation, thick sweetness, mildly bitter with some booze burn.

Overall a thick, sweet, boozy NT DHIPA thats not much different than the average of the others.

For an oat based brew, it's not overly foamy, nor hazy. A pint can was emptied entirely into a clear glass liter mug and a dark lemon-amber color appeared. There was a little more head than ideal produced, but it wasn't annoying. Like most oat based beers, this isn't particularly aromatic, behind the oatmeal smell is some hops which provide citrus notes. The taste is of sharply citrusy hops, without much counterbalance. The oats add enough sweetness, but not much else. Of course, they add much to the body. There's some glass lacing, but you won't be mesmerized. Much of the alcohol is hidden by the softness oats contribute to the body. Although full bodied, it does go down lightly. If you don't need a traditional malt character in your IPA, this will do just fine.
