This is a fresh take on our favorite hazy double IPA. Double Broken Heels dry-hopped singularly with Nectaron. We kept the same malt bill as Double Broken Heels, and all of the brewing techniques that make it unique. The switch to Nectaron hops brings out tons of tropicals lead by pineapple and passion fruit.

Canned 7/18/25. Good but by no means great. Nose and palate flavors seemed mild, and the high abv leaves some heat on the finish.

Dated 07/17/25, into a pint glass.
Pours a murky yellow with great fluffy foam, very opaque. Aroma is intensely dank with lots of pineapple but incredibly aromatic. Smells like it was brewed with terpenes without it actually using any. Flavor is similar, insanely dank and heavy on the pineapple and cantaloupe. It's slightly sweet with a small hit of bitterness on the back end but just really resinous. Feel is good, very nice and thick with a strong body, but not too much. Alcohol hidden perfectly.
Altogether, some wizardry that makes this the most dank beer I've ever had. Super good stuff, very fresh and aromatic.

Two fingers worth of late to develop light khaki colored froth... Rock solid retention... Color is an exceedingly pale honey amber... Muted but sharp citrus notes, primarily orange and lemon... Strong malt base of saltines and biscuit... Palette is as expected, but with and additional musky and earthy quality... Feel is on the fuller side of medium bodied... Light carbonated bite... A touch of chalkiness... Solid beer... Goes down easily... Nothing overly complex or stellar but this one just works...
