We teamed up on something we call West Coast Pilsner; a traditional European Pilsner that we dry hop like a new age West Coast IPA. For Expanse, we also brought additions of orange and lemon peel early on in the brewing process. Just enough pithy citrus the shine through Citra, Talus, and Simcoe dry hop additions, all on top of the traditional European canvas.

12oz can purchased from the fridge as part of a mix-a-six pack for $13.99. Canned on 09/24/25, so this beer is almost seven months old. Collaboration with Human Robot.
Look: Nice pale to medium gold color with a rocky head that settled to a nice thin layer. Excellent clarity and visible carbonation rising up the glass. The beer became a bit hazy after swirling and pouring the bottom of the can.
Smell: Nice citrusy aromas - lemony, grapefruity. Secondary notes are floral with a peppery bite. I also get a subtle piney/dankness. Smells very nice.
Taste: Delicious. It's really tasty. At first, I thought that this might be a bit watery. But it's not, I think that it just gave that initial impression because it's so easy to drink. Up front, it has a grainy, crackery malt with lots of citrus flavor. The finish is moderately bitter with lots of oily lemon peel and orange zest. The finish is crisp and dry. Very nice.
Feel: It's light to medium bodied. Slightly oily mouthfeel.
Overall: It's very tasty. I wouldn't say that this is one of my favorite West Coast Pilsners. This one is very citrusy; I like when they have more complexity and a bit more dankness. A solid collaboration beer!

Typo on the label, I've never heard of a "West Coast Pilser" before... A fingers worth it f crisp off white colored froth... Average retention... Color is a slightly hazed lemony yellow gold... A wee bit of sluggish paced carbonation throughout... Nose is simple but pleasant... Cereal grains and noble hops, as expected... Palate as expected... Again, simple but effective... Feel is medium and sturdy with some crisp carbonation... Nice beer (other than the typo)....

This takes a minute to develop as first sips are quite dry drowning out subsequent flavors a bit. As things proceed, some cracker/biscuit malt become known with a tannic citrus hop note tagging along. A grassy herbal quality asserts itself (Talus) during the transition to a dry bitter finish. Not bad, but I'd like a bit more malt flavor to offset the dryness

Purchased as part of the New Trail Expedition Pack. Pours a clear, bright golden color with a rough, gravelly head. Pronounced lemon zest aroma. Citrusy flavors upfront gives way to a nice malt notes and a cracker flavor. Light mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Overall, a unique and refreshing offering!

Pours a golden amber with a cream colored head.
Smells grain, flowers, dank resinous hops, and pine nuts with a hint of citrus.
Taste follows nose with a nice interplay of flavors.
