16oz can sent my way by @jzeilinger
Poured into a Fat Head's nonic pint
P black w/ a 1f khaki head; looks good
N soft-med to med nose of deep roast and lightly sweet chocolate
T lots of roasty malt throughout w/ some dark fruit in the finish; maybe a touch of peanut butter in the aftertaste; simple and inoffensive; a non peanut butter nutty note comes out as it warms
Mf light-med to med bodied and lightly creamy; med carb
O was hoping for more peanut butter presence in this one; not bad aside from that, though; thanks, J!

Poured from 16oz can into pint glass in December 2025. There is "CANNED ON 11/03/25" stamped on the bottom of the can, and I drank this about 1 month after I purchased it.
Appearance: Very dark black with 1-finger head. The head was dark tan, and disappeared after a couple minutes. It left almost no lacing on the glass, and a very thin head remained after a minute.
Smell: Strong mix of aromas including roasted coffee, peanut butter, and chocolate aromas. Not much hop style citrus or pine aromas.
Taste: There is taste of coffee, and peanut butter. Also, some chocolate and roasted malt flavors. Very little hoppy flavors. They are more balanced than I expected from the aroma. Flavors are bold. A sweet chocolate aftertaste with edge of coffee, that is really enjoyable.
Mouth-feel: Medium-strong and smooth and creamy body. Not as heavy as other imperial stouts, but enjoyable. There is a medium-strong alcohol presence that matches 9.1% advertised.
This is a very good sweet Imperial Stout. It has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer, with a nice balance. The flavors of chocolate, peanut butter, and roasted malt nicely balance the bitter coffee flavors. I would buy this again.

A - Black pour with thin, but sticky toffee colored lacing.
S - Chocolate malt is first and foremost with some char and the peanut butter is pretty subdued and plays a little like some sort of Maple nuance (oddly enough).
T - Chocolate malt with a slight bit of underlying pecan (which doesn't make any sense to me). Finishes on the sweeter side with low bitterness and a small trace of peanut butter.
M - Big medium silky in the middle with too much thinness around the edges.
O - I really like New Trail but this one isn't doing it for me because something tastes "off" and I can't peg it.

Nice stab at a PB stout here. Pours with a lush khaki head that dissipates leaving behind a simple carbonation with no lacing. Stout 101 here. Scents are molasses, syrup, and roasty malts. Flavors follow suit with subtly sweet notes of maple syrup and tiny bits of peanut butter. I get hints of vanilla. Take note, this is a stout first. PB is playing a back up role, which IMO is a great concept. Viscosity is average for this ABV, no harm done there. Overall, worth visiting. Not otherworldly by any stretch. If you're looking for a PB bomb, this is not it.

Pours a dark mahogany leaning towards black with a tan head.
Peanut butter, bourbon, chocolate with notes of plum and raspberry.
Taste follows nose with notes of maple syrup and roasted pecans, not sweet just subtle delicious savory notes.

The pour that emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug displayed a liquid nearly black coffee brown in color. There's a solid head that's on the dark side of tan on top. A full aroma of roasted malts is there for the nose, but there isn't much peanut butter. Then, that also becomes true of its taste. After drinking several peanut butter infused beers, it may be hard to believe that there's one with a subtle flavoring. Well, here it is. That doesn't make this bad at all. There is some of the listed flavor within, but a complex roasted malt character dominates this experience. The body is quite nice for a Stout with a 9.1% ABV and it's not sticky, nor thick. The glass lacing is what you usually get with a higher octane Stout, maybe just a little better. Unless you are seeking a full blast of peanut butter from your Ale, this shouldn't disappoint.
