Pours a hazy orange with a finger of head that doesn't stick around too long
Nose is very bright with fruit. Pineapple, mango, and orange
Taste follows with a bitter finish. Very nice
Feels sharp, has a west coast feel
An very nice version of a really solid beer

More translucent than hazy. Big fresh aroma: resiny, tropical and kind of grassy. Vibrant flavor bursting with terpene oils of citrus and pine, and a bit of orange juice. Light and lean texture more like a Westy. Nice variation on NT's always solid IPA.

Like its forefather (Broken Heels), this variant pours with a thinner head that dissipates fairly quickly. Scents of light peach and tropical fruit are present. Flavors follow suit with a nice developing dryness and palate coating resinous bitterness. This is a Hazy IPA with a WC lean, which is a very nice thing. Not heavily oated, sweet, or creamy. There is no time for a fluffy head. Business is at hand, and overall on the face of things it is difficult to rate this over 4, but this beer wins where it matters. Traditional IPA attributes.
