Pours dark brown with a thick tan head that has good retention and decent lacing. The aroma is mild dark roasted malt and not much more. The flavor is those same dark roasted malt and a touch of maple, if I try hard I can make out some of the pecan, although if I wasn't told it was there I'd be unable to tell. The feel is creamy and smooth, lightly carbonated. Overall a decent enough beer but nothing that stands out.
