16oz can canned on 10/31/22 into a nonic pint glass.
L: Pours burnished copper red w a 3/4" light khaki & rocky head w VG retention remaining a little bit creamy, low carbo, med-thick skeletal lacing.
S: Caramelized malts, a hint of cocoa, toasted cereal grains, gently floral.
T: Slightly metallic bittering, toasted grains, zesty bitters, a background note of cocoa/milk chocolate malts. Fairly clean.
F: Smooth, gently creamy & even, right in the center well-balanced medium body w a med-length slightly lingering finish that is not too drying.
O: This ESB has a British flair and has a very nice flow. Smooth, EZ drinking with some flavor depth. It is excellent in its style.
