Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Ommegang chalice. Aromatic with orange blossoms and green tea. Light, even watery body in the refreshing sense. Slightly sweet with malty flavors and green melon with a hint of pepper. Crisp and fruity with a luscious smooth taste. Quite moderate bitterness, and just a slight sharpness in the aftertaste. Overall this is an excellent hoppy brew, and one of the most quaffable new California IPAs I"ve had this year. From the 16 oz can from the local liquor store. Not dated.
