First there was Angel Wings, then Angel's Trumpet. In the pursuit of limitations, we decided to push this series one step further. Scaled carefully and with purpose, this Triple big brother brings huge notes of citrus, peach, grapefruit, melon, and mango. It drinks very dangerously smooth and juicy for the ABV.

taking a walk in the early summer heat led me to find the nearest place that sold singles, snagged one of these because i saw the frog logo and thought it was cute honestly. fun can art, dumped it into a pint glass kind of recklessly. its a deep, murky orange colored brew, kinda reminds me of the orange juice i drank as a child. a decent finger of foam came n left, with a broken up little cap resting atop now. pretty nice sheets of lacing trail behind. on the nose is your usual tropical fruit affair, grapefruits, orange rind, a bit of mango and melon here and there, all followed by a nice backing of toffee, pine, grass and resin. all the goodies ya expect from a ton of hops really. the flavor profile opens up with a pretty dank note, flowing into some nice almost candied fruit, a huge smack of grapefruit and tangerine, with some backing notes of pineapple, melon and mango. it then moves into a nice sweet breadiness for a moment and then just leaves you with a lingering citrus bitterness and a smidge of pine. not the juice bomb i expected(which is nice) but still quite close. you can tell this thing has some oomph to it, slight alcohol warmth comes in pretty quickly but is never potent. nearing full bodied but still refreshing and drinkable, its a nice little porch sipper on this sunny day. hope i can stumble upon more from this brewery at some point

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy, sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, pine, tangerine and sweet caramel/toffee. Nice piney bitterness with grapefruit, orange and toasted caramel.

Solid head production and excellent retention. It's an opaque murk bomb to be sure, but a very attractive beer within that sub-style.
Intensely hoppy aroma, as expected, bringing mostly tropical notes, including melon, mango, and papaya.
Just as juicy on the palate, with only moderate sweetness and mild alcohol burn from the double digit ABV. Almost entirely tropical hop expression, with just a touch of herbal notes for some depth. Pale dough and cracker from the malt base.
Creamy and soft with exceptional drinkability.
This isn't a particularly complex or unique NE-style IPA, but it's very good. Very few IPAs are this smooth and drinkable at this ABV.

No canning date (released on 3/22/22, so presumably canned within a few days of that date); consumed on 4/6/22
Pours a turbid peach hue capped with multiple fingers of rich, fluffy, off-white foam; excellent head retention yields a rocky finger of cap, moderate, frothy collar, and protruding rings of dense lacing encircling the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to candied key lime softening to dank cantaloupe and peach skins as light mango meets cool, grassy resins over the middle and lingering orange zest and light grapefruit peel on the close.
Taste brings musty lime against the slight twang of grapefruit before peaking with candied guava, papaya, and an underripe pineapple brightness through the mid-palate and into grassy resins grazing the back end.
Mouthfeel offers a medium body with subtle, prickly carbonation, while a silky hop twang phases into a juicy mid-palate, quasi-bitterness and bringing forth a bright, resinous glide finishing over the back end.
Trending bombastic and sweet without overreaching, this TIPA sparks balanced hop saturation with the richer weight of the style for ample intensity and clean presentation.

Pours a hazy murky pale yellow with tinges of orange in the mixture. Head is nice rocky thick off white in color hangs for a while with some great lace.
Aroma is big juicy huge citrus that you just know is bitter, lots of tropical mango and melon mixed through out the bitter smelling citrus. Malt base is sweet but mostly comes off as bready.
Taste is not quite up to the nose in intensity but flavor wise its pretty much it. Lots of tropical fruitiness up front right after the citrus tingle. Mid pallet is bitter citrus rind bitterness along with some bready body. Finish is everything all mingled together fruity with the ever lingering rind bitterness on the good malt backbone. A big so called triple that you can tell was double dry hopped from the intense fruity great nose.
Mouthfeel is nice big medium that feels full or maybe not but you can tell this is a big beer with a solid backbone to it.
Overall I enjoyed this think its my first from this brewery , not sure if I'm just in the mood for a big IPA but this one is sure hitting the spot.
