Tasted on tap at the Bourbon Street Barrel Room in Cleveland, OH.
I thought this was a good porter overall, with light chocolate being the defining characteristic. My only complaints were that the body was a little thin, and that a background chemical-like taste developed as it warmed.
Updated in September 2024, after having the beer on tap at the brewery taproom: This time I did not get the chemical note and I enjoyed the porter much more. I have updated my scores based on this tasting.

16 ounce can, canned on 04/24/23, label says 6.5%. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark chocolate, roasted malt, dark bread and some coffee. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also a bit of toffee sweetness too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall porter, wouldn't mind trying this one again in the future.
