This traditional German-style lager is most associated with this time of year and Oktoberfest in America. Notes of toasted malt sweetness and German hop spice define this medium-bodied, clean copper-hued lager.

16oz canned 07/22/25 poured into a mug at fridge temp 5.4% ABV per label. The beer pours bright copper tinted amber with khaki colored head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Minimal lacing. The aroma is mild with toasted malt. The taste follows with nutty, deeply toasted malt and an earthy, herbal hop flavor and moderate bitterness. The feel is thin to medium bodied with average plus carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Cleanly lagered. Overall, good beer with a bit too much bitterness and carbonation to score well to style.

From the 16 oz can in a pint glass. This excellent marzen pours a
luminous medium dark red tinged medium dark amber with a moderate
head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and
displays some light lacing. Nose of toasted malts, dark breaded malt notes,
caramel, and herbal hop notes. Flavors hit the mark with dark bread, light crust,
stone fruit notes of peaches, light dusting of brown sugar, and herbal hops.
Mouth feel is medium, medium light carbonation, smooth, and finishing
faintly dry and HIGHLY crushable.
Overall; can't go wrong with the good bone folk!
Excellent representation of the style with exceptional balance.
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 08/08/22, label says 5.5% ABV. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head that stayed around for a long time. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like toasted malt, bread and some herbal hops. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some grassy flavors too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall Märzen, definitely worth picking up if you come across some!
