From the 16oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74!
This solid little Berliner pours a chill hazed dark
plum color with a nice head of white foam that settles
to a thin ring and light dusty layer. Nose of raspberry,
light vanilla, and subtle chocolate notes with light acidity.
Flavors follow the nose nicely with light tart raspberry, light
vanilla, subtle chocolate with hints of white chocolate, and
moderate acidity as is standard in the style. Nice mouth
feel; medium light carbonation, refreshing, nice acidity,
and a lasting finish.
Overall, not a fan of the style but this one is a winner.....
a lurker in the fridge for some time, but still good!
Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on it but I believe this batch was from an October 2019 release. Purchased at the brewery about a couple weeks ago after trying some there. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a hazy reddish/purple color with almost an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice and fruity, the brew smells like sweet and tart raspberries, cream, vanilla, and a bit of chocolate. Taste is just like the aroma with sweet/tart raspberry, cream, vanilla and chocolate flavors, however I think the chocolate shows up a lot more in the flavor of this beer compared to in the aroma. All the flavors mesh well here! Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I really like this one a lot, wish I would have bought more! $16 for a 4-pack.
