From the 16 oz can in a snifter from Bluejacket74---Cheers Dude!
This unique imperial pours a dark brownish black with a nice head of
tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin wafting layer, and shows some
nice light lacing. Nose of pistachios, dark chocolate, sweet cream, and
char notes. Flavors hit the perfect balance for the equal the sum of
your parts; dark cocoa, cream, pistachio, dark coffee, dark fruit notes
of black and blueberry, lightly earthy malts, and a nice cinnamon note
I could not sense on the nose. Very nice mouth feel; medium full body,
smooth, rich, moderately coating, light carbonation, and a sweet brulee
and lightly bitter malt infused finish.
Overall---Wow, this one is solid, especially for a unique hybrid!
Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating on it but I believe this was an early November 2020 release. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with almost an inch tan head that stuck around a little while. Good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like cinnamon, vanilla, pistachios, cacao and roasted malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some coffee and dark bready flavors. All the flavors seem to mesh well together with no one flavor overpowering the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good overall brew, certainly worth trying if you get the chance to!
