750 ml crowler, purchased at the brewery yesterday with a fill date of 10/8/21. 6.5% ABV written on the crowler but the info on their website says it's 5%. Thanks to the person who was nice enough to put the crowler on their tab when I was checking out, I appreciate it! Served in a Teku, the beer pours a purple color with not quite an inch light pink head. Head retention and lacing are both OK. I like the aroma, the brew smells mostly like blackberries, along with some vanilla and jam. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some tart dark berries in the finish. Leans a little more sweet than tart to me, and has a lot of blackberry flavor. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good fruity/juicy brew, liked it even more on tap yesterday at Branch & Bone. If you like fruited blackberry beers then give this one a try!
