750 ml crowler, fill date 10-23-21. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear amber color with not quite an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like bready malt, toffee and some dried stone fruit. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some black tea and earthy hops. There's a nice slight bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's a bit slick and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good overall brew, certainly worth trying if you get the chance to. I probably should have drank the crowler sooner, but drinking it a couple weeks after the fill date didn't seem to hurt the beer much in this case.

16oz pour in a shaker pint glass - on tap at Old Scratch Pizza in Dayton, OH.

Appearance: Clear amber color. Thin white head, with a few strands of persistent lacing.

Smell: Not a lot of aroma - a bit malty and that's about it.

Taste: Good toasted nutty malt, with a classic English bitter finish (tea like). A little bit of mineral at the finish along with the bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Good thickness, light carbonation, a little sticky on the teeth.

Overall / Drinkability: Easily drinkable, fitting the style fairly well. Nothing super remarkable about this beer. Solid, all-around good, but nothing outstanding for the style. Went very well with pizza and by itself as well.
