Pretty. Muted gold in color with a fluffy white cap that asserts about 2 inches before slowly settling down to a sold film. Good retention and generous cloudy curtains of lacing.
Nose is timid with some citrus zest and a hint of stone fruit.
Flavor starts off with an earthy bitter orange rind followed by some grass and herbal pepper. A slight honey malt peeks in for a split second but surrenders to the bitterness.
Mouthfeel is spot on for style, light to medium heft, great carbonation level keeps things moving, and the finish is a smooth bitter drop off.
