sure this might just be too light for some folks to really get into, and i can appreciate that, but this time of year in the texas summer heat, this is seriously unbeatable, beyond session to downright all day beer, i love that notion and i think the fact that this is as flavorful and enjoyable as it is at this low abv is a cool thing, makes this a winner in my book. its not even 3% abv, but has a lot of character, a saison at heart, with a light rustic funk to it, almost a grisette sort of multigrain complexion, but so light in appearance its like a little yellow beer blended with water, hardly any color at all, but it does hold a head. i get a lightly vinous saison yeast strain, even a hint of subtle brett, with floral hops and a mellow wheat base, its super easy going too, but it never feels watery, dry and well carbonated and with a little body for what it is too. this is probably the second runnings of another beer, likely a really compelling full strength saison, but i really like it, and wish this concept would catch on a little bit. table beer for hot weather that has some yeast character, pretty awesome! i liked all the beer i had from these guys, but oddly enough, i liked this one the best, awesome concept and very well executed. i could drink this endlessly!
