Stopped over to this place after I saw it as a verified location on Untappd from my hotel. Looked like the tap list was pretty solid, albeit small. There was some kind of country music shindig going on when I got there. Only description I saw for this one was on the board that read, “Mango Milkshake Double IPA.” Was surprised to see them serving in plastic cups, but was going to try and not let that affect the rating.
Poured a gold, hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head when I got it. Very light bubbles coming up from the bottom. World-class spiderweb lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled mango, lactose, Mosaic, Citra, floral, tangerine, passion fruit and guava. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste followed the nose for the most part. Guessing Motueka for the hops. Also mango, guava, lactose, caramel candy squares, earthy tangerine rind, passion fruit and peach. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, juicy finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was very good milkshake DIPA. (Overall - 3.75)
