I'm at The Mountain Layers Brewery in beautiful downtown Bryson City NC.
Enjoying The Blaze of Fall in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of NC.
I'm here for some hiking, camping and whitewater kayaking.
On to the beer,
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Appears dark brown with a nice foamy tan head and lacing that fell to a thin cap.
Smells sweet, malty, chocolate and vanilla.
Taste follows the nose and the vanilla lingers.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style.
Overall a very nice stout that I would definitely order again.
