a radler, but we dont have that category here on BA yet somehow, so fruit beer it is, grapefruit and lime to be specific, pretty dan citrusy, maybe overdone and maybe not amazingly well refined overall, but summery and refreshing, it is what it says it is, and the low alcohol is awesome, love the concept of drinking a beer indefinitely and not being wasted, although im not sure this one would be the one anyway, but its easy and low commitment and it makes sense for summer. hazy and without a lot of head, a little duller and thicker looking than i think i thought it would be, or than maybe it should be, but the flavors of the fruit seem authentic, and the mix of grapefruit and lime together is nice, lime less common in a radler of course, but it works. it also has better carbonation than it looks like, so this stays light and is refreshing when its cold. it warms up to being sweeter, almost wheatier, and it has me wondering if the base beer is even really a lager or what it is, its pretty nondescript in this and nearly lost to the fruit intensity, but that might be for the best. soda-like but quenching, some decent acidity here too almost giving it a berliner vibe, and overall a fine offering for their patio space while its light so late this time of year. could also see this working well with spicy food. not super tidy, but it tastes good and at least its something different from these guys...
