KBrux is a farmhouse ale that was fermented warm and then gently dry hopped with Amarillo hops. It was then bottle conditioned with one of our favorite brettanomyces strains and laid to rest in our cellar for 5 months. It is carbonated to 4.0 volumes for a champagne like effervescence. Notes of lemon, orange, hay, mixed citrus fruits and funky Brett character.

Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving into your favorite glass. If served warm or consumed directly from the bottle it is much more likely (definitely going) to foam over and be a much messier/less enjoyable drinking experience.

Sigh.....
Turns out they can’t all be winners
Ok so this one is a special fermentation. First off....you want effervescence...this one delivers. Even chilled and opened a bit roughly caused it to erupt! Really a nice pour!

The nose is...well...ya it is eccentric as the other reviewer noted. Not a memorable one but get the blend of hops here and approach...
Taste is strong with hay, fruits, orange and solid earth. The Brett is strong with this one.
Listen, it is ok....just don’t start here...

My third Badlands try and by far...by far!... this is the worst.
I am only going to say this once: stay away from this one.
I love saison, but this one is nothing short of disgusting. The nose is not funky, it's one of the most repugnant smells you ever smelt and the taste does not have a brett character, it has the character of bad yeast and fungus laden sour kraut. I hope I can finish this. Honestly, I am unsure whether this one is even finished yet.
Their other beer is so delicious, so I won't hold this utter failure against them.
