a very clean and successful gose, not too sour to drink a bunch of, and really nicely balanced by the guava in here, which is tropical and ripe and for once in its beer life not coopted by pineapples and passion fruits and such, but standing nicely on its own. the beer is very pale in color, like champagne from the tap, with a nice white head on it and pretty carbonation rising up. its minimal from the grain side, light white wheat and pils malt seems to be all, its like it gets most of its body from the salt, which isnt briney or drying but full and mineral forward and rich to me, adding a really cool earthy element and size to this. the guava is nice and juicy and works super well with the sourness. its nice and tidy, a profession sort of lacto souring, tangy and perfect with the salt, not overly acidic and no weird off flavors with it. bright and summery beer, lively in feel and full of flavor, a cool take on the style, and something really drinkable. i was impressed with all the beers we had in here from a quality standpoint!
