I visited with my whole family over the holidays, on a balmy Friday after Christmas, a few days after the bomb cyclone ripped through the country and the temps were down in the single digits. It was sunny and in the fifties as we commandeered one of the outdoor wooden tables, which filled up fast from about one pm. The atmosphere was friendly, with plenty of dogs and kids and about a dozen offerings on tap. My brother ordered in a few pizzas, which were delivered quick, and we had a pretty decent time. I would chill here again.

Small brewery a block or so off the main drag. Cozy, dog friendly, tasting room with short straight bar on the right opposite the entrance that seats about 6. A few table about the room and a large patio out front. 10 beers on tap, the 2 I tried were solid, but nothing special.

It's a narrow brewery, tucked in off the street. The parking lot is small, less than ten cars can fit. We parked a little ways down at the town lot. The staff is friendly, and they have three golden retrievers wondering about. Inside, there are a handful of seating areas and the bar, with the tanks directly behind the bar. While there is covered outdoor seating, this is very much a warm weather experience.

Long Island Good Friday runaround with Witz. Working our way out east towards points undetermined yet, but we’ll get there, wherever there is. Navigated not the shortest distance between two points around towns through side streets and waterside, as it is, and well yeah, there it is. Standalone with an outside pandemic tent, it being that life and all…
In and to the bar, I say; ‘L’ shaped black steel topped, caged sea stone base, & piping foot rail. No seating during Covid life so get your beer and then stand clear. 10 logo handled tap tower on the bar, with snacks and a corner growler filler. 4 serving tanks behind the bar, and a pair of kegerators with 2 handles each. Event board & shelved wares. Merch hung on the frontside of the bar base. Small slat horizontal boards listing draft selections in alt colored chalkings (beer, style, ABV).
The room done horizontal pieced wood below eggshell upper walls, same colored ceilings with wood post beam trim, and concrete floors. Roll up doors to both sides of the entrance forward. 6 stool counter on the far wall off the bar below a fold up window, barrel tables about the room, plus a cut tree split table with a colored inlay, and corner comfys. Fireplace that isn’t a fireplace with a candle lit mantle, a large compass, Huntington maps, and area pics, like of that damned finback whale that got stuck when the harbor froze, and others. Flatscreens to the front & side for the looking at. Badass suspended log all gnarled with alt length drop lamps wrapping over there (me, pointing), cool fogged filament bulb drops over the bar, track spots, & mounted lamps. nice décor.
11 beers (Bay Hill Blues, Blueberry Wheat Ale, 4.9%; Asharoken Ale, Amber, 6%; Northporter Express, Coffee Porter, 6%; Captain Blood Orange, Orange Wheat Ale, 4.9%; Halesite Haze, IPA, 5.9%; Walter White, XPA, 6.2%; West Neck Beach Black, West Coast IPA, 6%; Buddy’s Golden Lager, Kolsch, 4.8%; Lloyd Harbor Litehouse Lager, 5.2%; Seclusion Infusion, NE IPA, 7%; Blue Bloods Fusion, Blueberry & Orange Wheat Ale, 4.9%), and then a bunch of cider things and an N/A, too. I know some of it is bottled (Wolffer Summer in a bottle, rose, red, white), not sure if any of the others (Wolffer Hard Cider, Original Sin X3, Doc’s Pear, N/A Athletic) are on draft.
Bay Hill Blues, Blueberry Wheat, big blueberry nose and a decent sweety; Walter White, XPA, listed as a union between an American Amber and a Belgian Wit, not too bad though I don’t know that I’d call it an XPA; West Neck Beach Black, West Coast IPA, tasty but murky murky. Beers were fair to good overall. Mark says they’re an extract brewery, something about town laws and waste water whatnot. They buy wort and ferment; no mash tun here.
Music this day was country & alt country. Neat space, nice folks, a chill afternoon not working, and a few beers here. It was a good Friday.

Nice place in town. Don’t know why a previous review states the don’t brew beer here, they do. I spoke to the owner/brewer who was slinging beers. He was very nice and we had a nice conversation but was always making sure his three dogs were not getting I trouble. 7 beers on tap. Big sitting area inside and out. Beers were very good.

Not a brewery. They don’t brew their beers there. Very nice people but this is deceptive.
