Draft: Poured a yellow color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of fresh mango notes with some wheat malt notes. Taste is a mix of mango notes with light residual sugar notes with some wheat malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable mango forward wheat ale.

Tap hit at Marlins Brewhouse in Fort Myers, FL. Arrived nicely cold, slightly hazy, inch of off-white foam.
Smells like a Florida refresher, pronounced mango up front, biscuit, citrus.
Taste is pleasant - mango, fruity, not sour, gentle malt back.
Feel is medium-light, medium carbonation.
Overall, a nice little poolside or beach beer that could also accompany a grouper sandwich quite well.

Nice head, about a finger and a half thick. Dark yellow/blonde color. It smells like a fresh mango. A light body with a very refreshing mango kick. Overall: A nice blonde ale fitting for a sunny South Florida summer.

Slightly hazy mango color with an oatmeal colored head. Lots of mango on the nose and a bit of malt.

The mango is delicious on the taste, and the malt provides a nice balance. Mouthfeel is fairly bright, making this a flavorful summer crusher.

I am in the land of the American Blonde Ale. This one does not raise the average of its competition.
Admittedly, I'm no fan of light-ish beers that have only the slight dimension to quench thirst.

And Mangolandia does quench... but not that much else.
It is even an unattractive Looking blonde, minimal bubbles (I am right on the Drink By date.) Aromas are fruity mostly. Tastes are reasonably balanced, enough hops to spice it up and enough lime to tart it up. Feel is refreshing, but bubbles would help more.

Unimpressed, I used the rest of Mangolandia to wash down a lunch of Thai leftovers. It did what many average beers do; it soothed the palate for more food. And that may be its strength.

What is unusual about Mangolandia is that it has life-style elements going strong. It is in the hip Wynwood district of Miami. It does not have a restaurant, but does pairing dinners with famous chefs. Also pairs with a nearby restaurant menu. I saw no evidence on its website that AB owns or invests in it. But if it does, encouraging lifestyle is probably a smart strategy in the land of the American Blonde. Now, they need to improve on the ales.
